Here's my pretty cheapy.....a Sanyo Twin cassette Mini. In truth, when I bought it on Ebay I thought it would be a unique style of walkman but it turned out to be more of a tiny boombox. Nice surprise for $14.

Here's another pretty cheapy.....Sears SR2100 Series mini. This one is solid, nice heavy construction and decent sound. The back reads MODEL NO. 304.21870250, that's a long number. Cleaned up nice...

light weigh not much punch - but has a well thought out look and some nice stylish touches - near mint helps it's look and at only £2 make it one of the top buys in this thread

Yup.
I was going to say when you first posted this beautiful box that it was a candidate for the most beautiful Cheapy.
I did not want to offend though. Cheapys are to be celebrated along with grails!!
Light weight, tone knob, piezo tweeters, It's up there in the top 5 for sure.

to me boxes are also ART - some thing that you find pleasing to the eye - it can be a box that cost mega bucks or as you have here a cheap ligh box, but for me there is some thing about this box that holds my eye - and makes me look again

gonna have to clean up that littleToshiba with the dial speaker that you like as well now
