well some of them anyways.
who are some of your favorite musical artists.
me i would have to say raymond scott is a guy who most of you have all heard but dont even know who he is.

this would have most likely been recorded in the 1950s and well raymond scott also was the man responsible for most of the looney tunes soundtracks.
aside from that he really foresaw many things to do with electronic music.
pioneering things like synthesisers sequencers and drum machines.
i believe that one of his synths he created was bought by motown for a million dollars back in the sixties and was used on all kinds of recordings.
now it sits in mark motherbaughs office in the columbia records building in hollywood.
i mean a lot of people might not get why i am obessed with his work but consider this
here we have a man who built his own instruments back in the 50s.
he produced music that no one had ever heard before and eventually influenced every genre of electronic music known to man just out of the sheer fact a lot of the gear was his idea.

he lived a pretty long life and well up until the time of his death he continued to work on creating new instruments.

i would have to say delia was a massively huge importance to modern electronic music.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NDX_CS3NsTk
she is also the person largely responsible for this

this track was simply revolutionary and well one must consider that making music of this nature in 1963 was just pure science fiction.
joe meek was a deeply troubled soul theres no doubt about it but he should be remembered for the man responsible for the first song to ever be transmitted in real time across the ocean from the uk to the usa .
this was a quantum leap in communications technology and he was the english version of phil spector who was heavily influenced by joe meeks sound.
too bad joe decided one day to head upstairs fall into a funk and blow his landladys head off and then turn the gun on his self.
its pretty cool to listen to how the track telstar evolved in his brain from a really crude demo to the classic track it ended up as.
old stuff for sure but there isnt too many hardcore bands that havent snagged ideas off of the guy.

i mean it kind of leads into this

theres dozens of musical heroes for me. i mean i could go on forever but i thought i would post a few of the most obscure ones.
i like modern music but i really dont have much time for any kind of modern pop music. thats just me tho.
