What does it mean?

Mine is easily misunderstood... many people see my screen name or e-mail and assume I am or used to be into well... drugs. Not the case actually. The only drug I have actually ever used is alcohol... no pot, shrooms, etc... Not even a cigarette or cigar.

Mine comes from a more innocent time around the age of 10-ish.... Simply put, I was clumsy. I tripped over everything. Big feet, (size 13 now). Then some cute girl started calling me "Trippy." stuck with it ever since.

At the time I hadn't had a clue of any other meaning... Now I have a more professional e-mail for certain things, but still use the old one too.

My first entrepreneurial venture was a small publishing company called Static Publishing. I did a few small runs (like 100 each) of 2 chapbooks, one short story book and a calendar. Though I still write – I don’t do the self-publishing thing anymore. But “Static Publishing” will always be in my heart.

I think you are on drugs right now, we all know what 'trippy' means HA!

Mines very simple. At work we wear our name badges on our uniforms. Mine reads S. LOPEZ. First names Steve. When I 1st started, my supervisor used to call out SLO! With a smile and a handshake everytime he saw me. It just stuck. 13 years later, co workers and friends still call me by that nickname ;-)

He disappeared soon after so I took the name because I thought it was cool. I was using Erik the Red as a username, but that wouldn't work on some BBS software because it had spaces in it.
