After owning a 920K a year ago, I know how good they are...sadly i had to part with mine...it was very beaten and far beyond being restorable.
Anyhow, two weeks ago, I got a call from a collector friend who told me something about an RX7700 on eBay. I was still rather sleepy and when I opened my laptop, I accidentally went to eBay Italy.
Well, thanks to eBay's new feature of newly listed items on the start page, i immediately spotted a 920 with original mics
. I was stunned and then saw the price...199€ - aww...that's gotta be the starting bid
.
I checked the offer and to my surprise...that was the freaking BIN
.
Without translating the description, I clicked it and after two weeks of waiting, it finally arrived today
.
Cosmetic condition is an easy 9/10. The back got a minimal hairline crack on its way but luckily it is barely visible.
Gonne take it to the workshop to get the tape repaired too. I want this one at 100%
.
Cranking it through line-in right now.
