I sprayed the base, which is from a Chevrolet Aveo called Aqua metallic..

Then, 4 coats of Seafoam metalflake followed by 4 coats of clear!
A bee landed on it as I was taking pics..sweetness approved! :lol:

Sanded it all flat because of material buildup, and recleared with DuPont clear..

It reminds me of those sparkly, fiberglass boats from the 60s and 70s. The chrome bits will really pop with that paint.

Like Joe said, yeah, your skills are disgusting. :-D :lol: :-P

Totally was thinking MANX Dune buggy from the 60's :yes:

That paint job is INSANE! Your skills are second to none. Simply a pleasure to watch you work!

It's been a long journey, but it's not over yet..
I had to reflect back on how it looked when I started and where it is now..:yes:

Must not leave out the bodywork..filler, sanding.. Primer, sanding.. Repeat..
Had to make all the edges so sharp they'll cut ya! :ninja:

I'm about 114% positive I called dibs on this monster like 7 years ago so you losers need to stop drooling all over my soon to be boombox! Pretty sure JC said I could have it for free too. And that I could tell everyone that I made it. Yup. That all happened. I'll have to search for the post.
