OK, OK, OK before the "He's Crazy" comments come flowing in (and I know they will
). I want to tell a little background on these watches.
In the late 1970's and early 80's when the digital watch revolution came into play, I was floored and amazed with the melody watches from Casio and Armitron. My family never had the money for such "useless luxuries" as my dad would call them and when a few of the other kids at school would show them off I was so jealous. There were many models of course. I don't remember the exact one I lusted after.
But I found this one today at the swap meet. Got it for $10, not working. Thought I could just put a battery in it. I took it down to Batteries Plus to have them install it. They did and found it didn't work. The screen kind of flashed some digits, but cut out.
. The kids gave me back the watch with the battery in it for FREE.
I showed it to my wife and got the "Well that was a waste of $10". :annoyed:
No....No way man!
NOW IT'S ON! :annoyed:
