Hey guys there is really no way to sugar coat this type of bulls#$....some one sent you money for a product ....and they dont recieve it or the money refunded...you robbed the person end of story...Don't care if it was intentional or by accident your a crook :thumbsdown:

If this were me we would not be having a conversation about this on a computer......we would be talking face to face........ :dunce:

I agree with Brooklyn Sound. Someone sells something...somebody wants it and buys it....the buyer buys it, the seller ships it. Enough said!

I hope SIN is a member long enough to get Zippy and the other members their money back. Other than that, I thin its time to cut ties. It will never be the same.

If you took the money then ship it or give him his money back, it's that simple. Everybody has tough times, but you still have to have some kind of ethics about you. If Zippy doesn't get one or the other Sinister is no better than a common thief. :thumbsdown:

He is deffo a top dude. We met many times and made a few deals with Freddi ( Zippy) . All perfect and lot of fun too.
He is so honest and funny dude. Really sad thats happened to him :sadno:

. And indeed some times some bad deals happened , but not for such big cash and the score is LOT to 0 . There is no even some bad described machine or broken from transport or so on . Its one really expensive "nada" for Zippy :thumbsdown:

And is goin for over a year and a half. So THAT is some period of time to get all solved. But looks like no respect at all from one side :thumbsdown:

Whats that mean - we all must stop all overseas transactions ,because when something like this happen we can not find the other party ??? Thats the reason ( IMHO ) why we are brotherhood and help each other . And worst is when happen with long time members. Thats puts all under question :sadno:

Yup - the logical consequence of this is to basically move all deals to eBay and only pay with PayPal to have a buyer protection.

I guess the sellers will have to eat the fees...

Well I think it stinks that this has been going on for over a year and Sinister still hasn't come up with the box or an explanation...its theft, pure and simple :nonono:

I reckon that as Zippy has been stiffed but been so decent about it the brotherhood should step up for one of its own...I'll more than happily stick ten bucks or whatever in a 'Get Zippy His Money Back' fund if others reckon its a good idea :-)

Its not much to stump up but if quite a few of us did it then it might get some of his dough back and reinforce the principle that basically on eBay you take your chances but on here we look after our own :cool:

and member gordie --asked all for 10-20 contributions for ' docs cause '

i participated --perhaps some other also did ?
never heard anything about that since

I think I pitched in for DOCs too, and I also funded a donation for member STRETCH after he got ripped off from DM4U :thumbsdown:

. I used the profits of all my strap sales over a few months and sent him over $100 on my own :yes:

I'm not ashamed to throw a few bucks towards Zip, or Alfie for the wrong of SIN :hmmm:

I had seen the strap sale fundraiser before and its stuff like that makes this forum awesome :thumbsup:

^ that is actually a great idea. If we could get a local member to meet up with SIN in a PUBLIC LOCATION to pick up the boombox, that would be easier for any contributing members to help pay for to get Zippy/Alfie their boomboxes. :yes:

Actually, they probably don't even want the boomboxes after all this time :-/

PS, the only way I would be willing to take time and contribute ANY money to these 2 members is if Sinister's account goes into deactivation.

Fund raise for the 2 members and split it up as a % to each. It won't make them whole again, but will help some.

Thanks for thinking about this Joe but to be honest, although I am out a few $'s I think Zippy has been much harder done by than me here :-/

I've already written this off as a bad debt and moved on. The radio I bought probably belongs to someone else now and I'm over it.
It would be good to help Zippy out but for me, I'd rather forget about it and concentrate on the good and well respected people on this site that make the hobby so much fun :-D
