I still have to say that I have delt with Sin and I purchased a handful of antennas, transaction went ok with no issues.

Man, I hate to hear about this. Zippy & Alfie, I'm sorry for your troubles Brothers. :sadno: I too have known SInister (David), visited him at his place and bought a few boxes from him with no problems. He's a very quiet guy and have known him to be honest. I don't know what's happened but, You two need your money or the Helix regardless. I wish the best for you all.

I've also have dealt with Sin and never had a problem, but I agree with some of the comments if you paid you must get your item.

I hope Sin is alright and hope he comes through with this situation.

Sad to see this happening here.

Another update one year after I started this thread. The sad thing is that this is not really going to be a big update.
Last autumn Sinister was back selling a few boxes and it seems everything has turned out alright with these sales. Good to see I'm the only guy who got totally screwed, I guess.

I actually got one reply from him when he was back in buisiness in November. Since then, again, nothing.

I hate this.

Damn this is not good at all :thumbsdown: . A year is a long period indeed. i think some US members should help with some contacts - to call him or write him or so on. Strange if he was selling boomers he was on his feet and should sort your issue. I know we have some rough times, but to pop up to sell other boomers, and not taking care of what should is really non respectable to the other side :nonono: .
Dude i feel for you. Its goin ugly , not just strange :thumbsdown: . If member here in my country makes that , i would make all the effort to find him somehow and to help the other side. Not good for the whole forum.
Damn im feeling so bad for around 20-30 dollars shipments when they are late. Serious , thinking all the time whats happened ( last time the 9998 to Owen took 6 weeks and even he didnt asked at all i was so nervous about that , even no my fault. ) .
I think the seller must take responsibility always.
Other way is pure rip off :thumbsdown: :thumbsdown: :thumbsdown:

After all, he got Zippy's money and was supposed to ship the box a long time ago. :annoyed:
Some members here must know Sinister personally (especially after all the nice words when he showed up again).
I really hope this gets resolved soon and there will be an explaination here by Sinister. :nonono:

When that happened with a European member ( it was actually way too far from that ) , few of us called right away and tried to help. We were posting info of whats goin on and so..... And all finished in a good way really fast.
Are we a brotherhood, or just all hiding heads in the sand when **** hits the fan :sadno:

Well just because we're Americans doesn't mean we can reach Sinister better than you could. Just sayin'. :-P I mean we are all capable of sending emails, and one email is just as good as another, no matter which country it comes from.

I will send a message to him, but I have never spoken to him before. I don't even know which state he lives in. :huh:

Has anyone on this board actually met him in person?

Let's give this some effect and help a brother.

I for my part can't fly thousands of miles nor do I have Sin's contact info but if I did, I would surely try to contact him and ask what was going on!
After all nobody is supposed to hunt him down but if someone is in his area, it would probably be a nice gesture to see him and check what is going on. :yes:

If it makes you feel any better Zippy, I never received my radio either. Or any money for that matter.

I contacted Sin when he came back and he responded but still nothing............... :no:

I have dealt with many forum members and this is my only bad experience, lets all keep it this way and be nice to each other :-)

How i called to a german member 2700 km from me when people were askin what is goin on ? We are not asking to send a SWAT team for search and hold :sadno: .
What is happening - everybody BRO when all cool. When somebody needs help - "what the hell you want" ( that is quotation from removed post ).
Should Zippy drink a glass of cold water for a few hundreds bucks ???
I really dont believe that is the way....

Last time I visited him was at His Apt in Oakland, CA. (5 yrs ago). Not even sure He's living there anymore. I believe there are a few members who live much closer than I do. I'm about 7 hours driving time away from where Oakland. I don't have his cell# anymore :sadno: or, I would've called Him last year or so to Help Zippy & Alfie.

Having problems of any kind is not an excuse not to send the boombox the man paid for.SINISTER had no problems taking his money.I'm sure that if his conscience was clear at least he owes an explanation to Zippy and alfie.From any angle this looks like a fraud to me.The fact he was selling boxes without paying attention to his previous ''deals'' talks to itself. :thumbsdown:
