M90 door trim

I am trying to get a M90 with missing door trim from another country.

I read in one post by Reno that the m90 door cover/trim can be removed. Does anyone do this for azimuth adjustment? I am wondering how a M90 can lose the trim when it looks firmly attached; although it is definitely not glued. Is it as easy as cassette decks to remove?

I'll also need to come up with a replacement but I guess it'll be just clear plastic that will need to be painted.

Yes, attached - it is the clear plastic that seems to be part of the door but can actually get detached so you can access the azimuth adjustment.

I remember drawing this years ago.
Norm, isn't this the one where I had a plastics place make the window?

It has a couple of gnarly hooks that hold it in place very securely...

This is it! It sounds like I will need to get up to speed on 3D printing - unless you already have the project and a printer and can print this for me, if it's easy enough?

The other option is a single clear pastic piece that can be painted and stuck with double-sided 3M tape, this would be the cheap version of it.

Yes, I have that part, plus the glass too. I'll have to dig it up. Right now my workspace is under plastic tarps due to it being painted. After the painters are done and I find them, I'll send you a PM @aiwapanasonic
