Also, the battery issue may be due to all that corrosion you see in the battery compartment. The corrosion sometimes tends to creep up the leads to the power supply. Easy fix is to desolder the old leads from the battery terminals and solder in some fresh ones. That is, if the power problem is as simple as the general concensus.
If not, I wouldn't lose any sleep over 99p. Excellent "practice" box and daily carrier.![]()
