here is a little brain teaser for you deep thinkers -- :hmmm: :-D

some recent posters -- all about " greedy sellers " may now step up and reply

and --would like to hear from everybody -- just for the jollies  :surf:
----------------------------
onesomaponofatime...
a tosh 40 owner --needs some quick cash -
so he plants his box at this location on a sunny sunday crowded beach day-

holds a raffle for 5 bucks per ticket -
by the end of the day --1000 tickets were sold
seller did well - ;-)
was he greedy ????
-----------------------------------------------
ok --the next day - the lucky // happy $5 buck winner runs into some bad luck-
finds out his dad needs a life saving operation --the cost will be $$ astonomical

needs fast money -just for the deposit :'-(
so he pops the tosh up on ebay for a BIN with immediate payment required
at exactly what BIN price is he ' greedy ' ??????????

last question -
lets say -- nobody needs an operation
the 5 buck winner just wants a bunch of money !!
at what price is his BIN greedy ??

Even without a BIN, I bet a 40 in nice shape could easily get bid up to $1,500 to 2,000

What with all the hype it gets on this site...

The seller deserves every last penny he can extract from any buyer willing to pay as much as it will take to obtain it. Obviously, that exact figure varies.

Question 1: No
Question 2: No
Question 3: Yes, but nothing wrong with that, since that is the fundamental principal of capitalism, a system most people in the USA openly embrace.

Unless of couse you are just a cheap azz entitilist. Then you can whine all day long thinking you deserve it, for cheap but in reality you'll only end up watching some other smarter buyer snatch this.

There really isn't any such thing as greedy, because if you don't try to get as much as you can, you're just stupid. Same goes for selling a car, or negotiating your salary.

With that being said, I find it hilarious when some professional garage-sale attendee who doesn't know anything about boomboxes takes an egg and lists it for $299

i think a greedy seller is one of those who steals your money and sends no box and then closes his ebay account .

No greedy sellers. If people are ready to pay ,nothing wrong.
Im just from the stupid side :-P .
But anyway it is the way that some people are feeling probably - when they are selling they think that their goods are best and worth all, from other side, they think others are greedy when trying the same. Just not grown enough probably :-D . It is like any kid - my parents are the best in all and so. It is wrong when somebody mature still think that the 40 years old son delinquent with lot of years spend behind the bars is still best kid in the world. For me is the same with all this "greedy sellers" wailing. It is a free world and anybody can offer anything which is legal on any price. The sellers are not obligated to show consideration for willing buyers income  .
So did i won the prize ( Tosh 40) Ira  ?

to do business you need money, and being in the right place at the right time. I remember when I was looking to buy an impala in Uruguay, I found a 1969 dodge super bee, standing in a garage for years, the price are, 2500 dolars for me at that time was a lot of money,The Dodge car sold for 10,000 dolars to USA.this was in the mid-90.Today price ,http://www.cars-on-line.com/50968.html , http://www.cars-on-line.com/48780.html
if I had those 2500, had made a good deal .I do not think it would be a greedy. always listen to that, of you have the car, i have the money.
Now if we talk about cheating, stealing, that's different that's being a criminal.

indeed bombeat photo was Sunday, and not for sale, at least for now

You always come across real bitter with some of your posts.

Who the hell is entitled to anything? Except the cold truth sometimes?

and btw - the capitalism which your country "embraces" failed - like it failed in my country/community

just a thought I wanted to put out there
