I think getting the max or over what I would think "max" price would be on a boombox I am selling is kind of the incentive for me to collect. I don't sell a lot of boxes, but some of the good deals I find and then sell for profit usually gets rolled right back into collecting. 99% of the time I will be using that money to buy another boombox.

Get the money while you can. Ask what you want, the customer will determine what you will really sell it for. I like to pass on some deals to members if I can/want, but if I throw it on epay, I want everything and more than what I think it is "worth". Just part of the game.

The profits are like paying for my hard work to find the deals I get scouring the internet for hours a day, using my fuel/vehicle heading to thrift stores, flea's, and garage sales. It isn't free for me to do all these things, so why should I pass on my good findings for cheap?

I'll admit I'm the worst kind of greedy. The stubborn one. I have to be pretty hard off to sell something for less than what I paid for it (ask me about my 50+ Longaberger baskets :annoyed: :-/ ).

And one of the most complicated websites in the world, with the most poorly-organized help library

It's hilarious that people actually thought Meg Whitman would be a good governor of California. What a joke.

Damn Right Man,if for example there is 500,000 auctions ending each day and they charged just $2 per auction they would make probebly/possibly a million dollors a day..but its never enough, its just a website too that basically kind of runs itself so i think most of what they earn is profit, its not like a factory were they have bils to pay like electric, gas, water, phone bill and whatever
