Been Busy

So my goal this year was to get six radios for my 26th brithday this past weekend. With the help of Stereomann,Patron,Kraftmatic and some of my luck I was able to score 6.

First one I scored was a NIB Lasoinc TRC-935 this was the lucky one All I have to say is this is a super good sounding radio overall and in amazing condition still has all the protective plastic

The next one I scored was from stereomann, a Sony CFS-85s good sound and very classy looks



Next up was from patron, a Sony CFS-66 with the box such beautiful shape not a scratch on it good sound



Next two are from Kraftmatic, Sony CFS-99 my all time favorite radio pure perfection imo. I also got a Sony CFS-F40 this little radio is so heavy for it's size, I would say it might be as heavy as a c100 and it has really great sound good bass



Last radio I'm waiting for to come in the mail a Sony CFS-6



Update I just got the Sony CFS-6 it's loud for being so little

The 935 is spectacular, I don't think I could be trusted with a grail that new. I'd HAVE
to remove all the plastic and carry it.

I'd remove the handle and slide the plastic off the end so that it could be put back if I ever grew tired of the box and wanted to eBay it as a "new, only removed from the original box for the purpose of testing it" example.

The F-40 is a great box when you pick it up and mess around with it you can feel the quality of it. I'm not sure how I got into the Sony's but I love the looks of most of them, I feel like they where design differently then most boxes imo

I would display it on the shelf just like that.. maybe take it out once a year just to remind myself how awesome it is... imp:

Thanks Bill no it wasn't on the lasoinc it's still a brand new sticker, I'm assuming it goes on the bottom right corner of the right speaker and yeah I'll take better pics of it when I get home

bill a certain amount of trc 935's came from the factory without the foam covering the woofers.
the ones that have the foam over the woofers also have cross braces that run across the front of the woofers to keep the foam in place .

awesome boxes , must say the cfs 99 is a sweet looking machine . they all look great . that other sony cfs 6 damn sweet little radio.
