There is an FB page that posts shipping updates. Shipping started on silver FE editions last Monday from China. The factory is on a current pace of building 300 per day. I'm hoping the shipping partners can keep up. Hoping to have all FE's done and shipped over the next 3-4 weeks.Still waiting on my 2 red units to be delivered![]()
You're soft. Move on. Life is far too short to be this petty. Fill out a hurt feelings report. We all deal with similar tax issues. It's part of life.I did, I even quoted you?!
Seems pretty hard to get my point across so here is my last attempt:
I have figured out the taxes for myself from the beginning, just like you tell me all the time. It was in my first post! I KNOW I have to pay VAT. I also KNOW that I DON'T have to pay US sales tax. What I don't know is what kind of tax was charged at the pledgebox checkout. It's impossible to find out without help from the bumpboxx team. But from the hundereds of questions regarding taxes and additional costs they answered not a single one.
THAT'S what bothered me. In my post I wasn't complaining about the costs. It was about the way these requests were handled. It was about the constant mention of the 'community' and that 'this would have never been possible without you guys <3' etc. and then ignoring the fear of hundreds that they bought something they might not be able to afford in the end because costs started to add up.
Ask about how to add a bag, an extra battery etc. to your order and you get a response in no time. But ask about costs adding up (or not, who knows!?), it's crickets.
On a side note, taxes and VAT are very well bumpboxx' concern. In fact, it should be every companys second priority after selling products. I'll tell you why: The buyer pays the tax to the company. The company collects the taxes and then forwards them to the gouverment. So they should very well know what they are doing. If they don't, they have to pay huge fines or even might loose their business. That's how serious this is. No buyer pays tax directly to the goverment. Never happened, never will.
Says the man crying about taxes. Get a better job and cry less. We really don't want to discuss lack of intellect. You are far too inferior in that area.I just take my time explaining my point to people, no matter how slow they are.
For the last time, move on.Dude, for the fifth time, the tax wasn‘t my point. This is painful.
The very first BB-777 was delivered today. This is the customers response. I can attest to it's accuracy. I absolutely love the one I have. As a collector it really checks all the boxes on what I want from a boombox. I never thought something like this would ever be made. Cost and logistics made it a nightmare. I am very thankful for what was accomplished with this. I think the collector community will love it.
That's a pre-production unit with the Red Back. Should all be black backs when shipped, at least that's what i was told. It's red backed? I thought all were black backed. I would prefer red backed.
There is a recessed plate there with vent slots on the side. It's next to the fan so I assume it helps to cool the fan motor.mellymelsr, When I looked at the back cover of the BB777, there is a hole between the switch and the AC jack.
What is this rectangular hole (with an arrow in the picture)?
If it was intended for some kind of jack, but was later removed from the design, then why is this hole left and not covered?
I asked this question in another thread, but I think it's better here.

This is a pre-production model. There were only 2 created with a red back cover. I have one. It was decided to make all the back covers the same color for better efficiency and cost effectiveness. It's red backed? I thought all were black backed. I would prefer red backed.
so you get the first second of music missing when playing CDs?This is a pre-production model. There were only 2 created with a red back cover. I have one. It was decided to make all the back covers the same color for better efficiency and cost effectiveness.
