I can say that submitting your e-mail address is good enough. I, too, was not keen on giving them my phone number, so I just backed out of that page. The next day I got an e-mail thanking me for signing up.

So, if anybody else is concerned about that, no phone number is required. Just giving them an e-mail address is good enough.

I submitted my email 3 or 4 times yesterday but I haven't seen an email come through. I even checked my spam section. I am sure it will come eventually. But if not, I'm guessing I will still be able to do the kickstarter when it starts.

About the build: It is injection molded plastic

A nice machine! Was going to ask about any chrome details, plates maybe - so none of them and this frame around display is covered with a chrome film, kind of?

The chrome around the tuner area is a several stage paint similar to the tweeter area on the M90. This may change to a brushed metal look for the final product.
