Anyone purchase the BUMPBOXX?

I have a whole bunch of these Bumpboxx's...and let's just say i LOVE THEM ...FM radio sucks in my city so i could care less about it working or not ! If you like loud music, with huge bass and good treble...this is THE box to get...nothing comes close to it!

The Bumpboxx and a freaking BEAST! Like you said, nothing else comes close. I have never seen anything portable that wasn't in the bed of a mini truck that hits like this thing.

I'm sure those f*ckers are loud and hit hard as hell. But personally I'm just not feelin the looks or build quality from what I've seen. I'd take any one of brother Jimmy's DIY builds over the Bumpboxx any day. Gotta give mad props to Jimmy for his fantastic work. He set the standard. Hopefully I'll get off my ass and find some time to build my own. I think about it all the time. The DIY boxes are just inspiring. AND they were built by a fellow member of the best damn website in the world.

Wow blu!!! Good news is they offer a one year warranty. Send that puppy in for a swap. Maybe you can get a custom box for your troubles.

I listed all of these recent issues in my YouTube Review video. My radio reception is also hideous. I was one of the very first to purchase so I paid up there for it. Hope they can offer me a retro fit kit to help me out as well. Mine was so early in production that there isn't even a serial number
I was also the first to find out it has the ability to record from the radio and line in onto USB or SD. These guys do respond and are willing to chat about the product and help if needed so that's great.

One thing I would like to add is one day when playing my Bumpboxx the left channel cut out. I switched off the box and turned it back on. Been working fine ever since. This got me wondering. I am willing to bet that the audio chip in this thing is stereo capable it's just being fed mono signal. hmmm. Wish it was in stereo.

So yeah. Two biggest concerns at this point for me. No Stereo option and poor FM reception. Otherwise Love mine

Bumpboxx company has really been fantastic with email replies and getting me setup.

I'm pulling for them to do a bang up job and sell loads of these for years to come. New products have issues pop up, but al least they stand behind their product. I have been a thorn in their side a little with the issues I posted about earlier, but they have been patient and understanding with me.

Oh and the futurepay company accepted my full payment check and deposited it(decided to not enter my bank info and do payments). Then they took my check bank info and completed the bank link to the futurepay account and charged my bank account for the full amount again on top of the full amount I already paid via check. Had to fight with them for days and just got that cleared up today and got the unauthorized charge refunded to my checking. What a roller coaster.

You're making me feel better. Now I know there are others out there that share the same kind of luck I seem to have :annoyed:

My DJ Tech BBX came with a dead charging brick. Then once I got that sorted I found out the internal charging circuit would not top off the battery and the battery was defective. I had to hunker down and mod the box (bypassing the stock charger) and went ahead and swapped the battery with the 5Ah.

In the end the fight was worth it. Hoping this will be the end result for you with the Bumpboxx.

Wow, sorry to hear of your dramas Joe. How in the heck can a static charge bugger up the control panel?

Apparently not over yet with futurepay company.....

They told me to have my bank do a "stop-pay" for the charged amount, which I did and my bank had the money back into my account by the end of day yesterday. Futurepay said they don't have a charge from them showing in their activity for my account.

Now today, futurepay must have finally realized they farked up and actually did charge me on top of my full paid check amount, so there is a REFUND from futurepay for $0 and another refund from futurepay for the full amount that my bank already got me back yesterday.


Jesus, futurepay has one job to do and they just keep farking it up I can't stand this **** anymore. At least my account is positive cash and not negative until they straighten this problem out now.

Just love this project so much and love the fans so much thet we will stop at nothing to make each person 200% happy. It's our goal. For the next 4 models we are releasing things get better and better. We are taking all of our input directly from the Boombox collector community. We feel that their voice is the loudest! And we are even paying for a well know boombox collector and hobbyist to go with us to our factory and design studio. We are dedicated to reviving the Boombox 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼📻
