Hey guys just days after finding my Aiwa CS-660 i picked up this 920 from the post office after getting it sent from the states, arrived safe and sound the bloke packaged it like a pro so i was thankful nothing broken or smashed to bits.
never seen one of these in the flesh before, its a pretty damn good looking box, i dunno what else i would find that would look better than this all the chrome and all the little dials etc makes it look so cool!
the rear panel needs to be repainted which ill do when im on holidays start of next year as its gone all yellow and yuck, would look great after that and a general clean up.
Only bummer is that it won't power on, i had a video of the bloke i bought it from operating it, turning it on and using all the switches etc so it did work, but i don't know if the transformer for the power switch that i've heard about got abit damaged, as the switch feels very stiff and when you push it in it sticks in and doesn't pop out unless you mess around with it.
is it easy to get to the transformer in these to see whats going on with it? i just wanna hear how this sounds!

It got the switches working OK short term but damaged them beyond repair long term.
I've had 3 and never saw grills like that on unit 
I doubt it's power switch though. Looks like setting is on 120v which is bad thing. But I could be wrong since its blurry in pic 
, i pulled the back cover off and had a look around, everything is sitting solid in place no bits floating around like the 777Z which is always a good sign! i tried to pull the front cover off, got all the screws out but didn't want to go to crazy on it as it didn't want to come so i put it back together, switched the AC to DC and turned the voltage to 220/240 and tried again and it fired up perfect, the switch is still a little bit tight feeling/sticky so i would still need to give the switch a clean i think but got it working and played some tunes through it it sounds fantastic! handles bass better then my Aiwa i think, seems to have a richer bass to it it handles deeper basses nicer and i love the LED meters they look unreal.
