Here is some good news.... we withdrew our offer on that short sale house ONLY because a bad ass house for sale by owner came on the market.

Stretching out our budget and making it a 30yr loan, this house stomps out the other one. Seller accepted our offer on the 17th and closing mid August.
Awesome news man!!! Coincidentally, our landlord just called me today and finally told us they'd sell it to us! And it's less than we expected!!!

Such a relief ain't it??? Now just gotta hope the process goes well. Good luck the rest of the way!!!
Good luck to both of you guys!

Good luck Trip!

We miss the kitty, he would have liked the new pad. Fingers crossed that everything goes smooth this time.

Yeah, losing a pet is never easy, especially when they're not just a pet, they're family. Well I'm glad you finally got some good news in your future living situation.

It took me about two seconds to envision you standing at that grill in a shirt and sandals perfecting some ribs. Meant to be!

Hat. And sandals. Hat and sandals. Haha. My coworkers keep distracting me with work to do, I'm blaming them.

That's a beautiful house Joe ,I hope everything goes through smoothly . if that house was where i live it be well over a half million dollars easily honestly a fair bit more than that. LAnd just down the road from me is $100,000 per acre and you cant even build on it.now you know why I'm poor lol.

Thank you thank you thank you!

Just sent the roof repair estimates to the owner this morning. House built in 1993 (roof probably on in 1992), so it is 25yrs old and HUGE. About $15k to replace.

Wisconsin is a full disclosure state. That means no matter who is buying the house, once a problem is found it has to be disclosed on your selling documents as a seller.

I'll let you know what the owner says..... :hmmm:

Have you plenty of space around the house to B-B-B-BOOMBOX to your hearts content?
Yes!!!! And there is a media room, which will be the #1 spot for my blasters and collection of vintage tower speakers that my wife hates hhahahaha
