Hi,been working on cleaning up an Aiwa 770 and like my 660 they're
somewhat difficult to work on!
The wiring to the cassette is hard wired and half
the center section.
Also you have fragile meters,tuner indicator
and not enough room to put things into position
to work on like cassette.
I dud get rid of all the dreaded goo on all shafts
pulley wheels and ect!! Hate that crap!!!!
But the deck motor was running as it was in
play mode.
Just need to lube it and install new belts.
Just sayin these aren't the easiest.
The 660 I think is harder.
Love the sound on these!!
So I guess it's worth the extra labor!

But this thing is a pain.
Not like the Sharps,JVC's and others.
Now for an 880!
