Cool box Skip  I found one of these at a car boot some years back fully working in ex con :-) like most of my boxes it's long gone (another regret). I remember it sounding real good, crisp highs and good bass, built like a tank too  if memory serves me right it's the Sansui CP7?

The at the moment favorite--Newly acquired Sony Zx-7 1984.
Great sound for the size and perfect player sound wise for the mid-century Jazz mix tapes I've been making lately.

I think it is pretty rare, according to what I have found out about it on the net...
Really heavy even without batteries in it, a metal frame, the battery door in back is all metal--i lucked out it plays beautifully..and it has these Sony APD (?) digital, square speakers---originally I think it was produced just for the Japanese market place...
The only thing it is missing is a carry case with a shoulder strap Sony included with it but---that gives me something to
hunt for----
thanks very much for the comment---
