That is just nespresso

...a friend of mine has a Nespresso machine and it is some of the best espresso I have ever tasted. Problem for me is I don't drink enough coffee to justify spending $700 for the Nespresso machine.

Happy to pay overly large sums of money for decent coffee. :dunce:

I have to admit it though, and please don't think me rude, but every time I have travelled to North America I have struggled to find great coffee.

I'm sure it does exist, but I had issues finding it in LA.

Take the last time I was in Vancouver for example - great town, great Restaurants but very average coffee, except from one place in the town (forget the name).

In Melbourne coffee is a daily passion for many, and we believe it to be some of the best around.

I have a domestic Gaggia machine and it provides my source of caffeine nicely.

I worked in the Post Office in the town Keurig is located and two observations:

- They seem to get a lot of packages returned for parts?????
- They have a coffee bar in the lobby and you could go in and brew a cup for free, but I don't drink coffee so I digress! ;-)

I'm not a big coffee drinker, only a few times a month! But my Dad gave me a Starbucks gift card, took a friend out for some coffee.....

Ummmmm, I don't get it? Is that good coffee? Because it's really expensive does that make it good?

Without the gift card, I would never pay $6.00 for a cup of crap you can get re-fills of for FREE at any restaurant in the world!

NOW...If we're talkin' BEER! :-P :-D
