We have a cottage just outside of Algonquin Park and routinely have to take down beaver damns to keep the lake level low. In a period of 24hours they can restore the dam back to it's original size if they're determined. Worst case is we trap it and relocate far away. Nature's little bastards! lol

Overnight, the lake rose about 25-30 cm's

No one else complains about the level on the lake because we're alone, just us and the beavers. Now I know how Bill Murray felt in Caddyshack.
Looks beautiful.
You just need a little C4.

For now, I don't have any new interesting channels to watch, but you can share what you like and watch on YouTube.

The BEST YouTube video which captures the 80's perfectly. This is basically what my life growing up looked like in a 1 hour video. It's long, so grab some popcorn and enjoy a time warp back to the 80's. Boomboxes and all.

Great stuff in there! I love watching 70s and 80s TV programming (commercials, news broadcasts, etc.) there's so much I missed!

I'll throw a few more I like to watch onto the pile...

Old Timey Computer Show is a 24/7 stream of vintage programming consisting mostly of video game shows/promos and technical videos.
Asianometry takes on various topics, mostly related to electronics, but not always.
CuriousMarc likes to restore mainly vintage test gear. A veteran of AT&T. He's been fully restoring comms hardware from the Apollo missions lately.
Mend It Mark restores vintage audio gear.
NorthridgeFix restores a mix of mostly video cards and laptops, but gets random stuff now and then.
Sixty Symbols, Periodic Videos, Numberphile, Standup Maths, Action Lab, and ChemicalForce are all great if you're into math, physics or chemistry.

I like this video so much........
It also makes me sad , the good times we had
I gd hate living in the present time
My sentiments exactly Eddie. I could go on ad nauseum about the nostalgic spots in this video that make me long for the good ole days.
But for me the scenes of concert audiences with their hands in the air just enjoying the music hit home. I'm was and still am a concert junkie and I remember the 80's concerts with passion. No cell phones, fans jumping in unison, and singing along like nothing else mattered

I saw Iron Maiden, Simple Minds, Soft Cell, The Cure recently and I still enjoy every moment with my hands in the air.
Now the issue is the next day with sore shoulders lol

Great video!

Transistorized, thanks for the video.
I'm guessing someone else sent it to you,
because the video is unlisted,
meaning you can't find it if you search for it.
Hi goodman. I found this a while ago on YouTube and had it locked on my FB page for safe keeping. Every now and then I go through FB and clean house. I was reminded of this link while scanning through and it still worked. I completely forgot about it but I quickly remembered that it was really good.

I am so glad everyone is is enjoying it. I am also honored that this YouTube thread was left open. It's nice to have a media place to go on here to watch anything appropriate to this forum.
