Bargain! The 3 pack of TDK SA60s is absolutely split new by the look of it, at least it's the same as you get when you buy these new now and that pack would cost £7.99 so at the current Canadian equivalent ($14.68 the now), that's worth the money on its own. I also use these JVC G1s, they're rebadged TDK Ds and are surprisingly good, especially with your deck's bias compensator at around 2 below mean, this because they're designed for cheap, low rent gear that has no bias control and which always uses a really low bias setting by default.
In the Hacker RPC1, a JVC RC-656 or a JVC PC-5's deck they sound superb and are nigh on indistinguishable from the original source when you use them for recording from uncompressed FM broadcast material. Remarkably good for T1 tapes.

Nice finds.

There's no telling how much "treasure" the people here in the States have thrown away in the trash. Canada is a friggin' wonderland.

Canada has 32 million people, USA has over 300 million and much older country. Not even close.

Tell tale sign winter is approaching.. hardly any sales this weekend, but did manage to find a rare Johnson Outboard 2 cycle motor oil tin for $2.00
Anyone know the year ? Im thinking early 1970's ? Theres no UPC barcode number. (The first UPC marked item ever scanned at a retail checkout was at the Marsh supermarket in Troy, Ohio on June 26, 1974, and was a 10-pack (50 sticks) of Wrigley's Juicy Fruit chewing gum)

Don't suppose you fancy selling that yellow Dinky Bedford CA van?

I'll match whatever the current Millers' Guide says for its condition (B+/-?)value: http://www.millersantiquesguide.com/login/

Tell you an odd thing about the blue BMC Ice Cream Van; that model was originally intended to be a hearse but then someone thought that the proportions looked awry and then some other one decided to make it into the ICV you see there in the model! True story that, from the knowledgeable gub of my dear sis-in-law beast, herself an ardent diecasts collector with the power of veto over my radio, record player, TV and boombox collections..
:jawdrop:

...so she's like "ASK THE GUY THE DAMNED QUESTION OR YOUR PRECIOUS B&O GOES IN THE SEPTIC TANK AND BY THE WAY; IT'S ONLY AN HITACHI THAT GOT DRESSED FOR A COURT APPEARANCE!" and I'm like "OK Hen, owt ye say.."

Please.

I love that Tonka Van!

I used to have a slick 1980 Chevy Van conversion with all the cool bells and whistles. I might have to build me a 1970's Van at some point down the line!
