another strange thread .
i am sure many of us have had our brushes with death.
some of us may not want to retell them but perhaps some do.

mine closest brush with death was on sept 17 just after 911.
i was travelling home with my boss ryan and of all things we were talking about people we knew who had died in car accidents.
i dont really know what kicked off the convo but anyways.
there was this dump truck with a pup on the back of it we were on the hiway and going about sixty miles per hour.
the dump truck was tailgating people and well i told my boss to watch out for that truck.
we were in this little mazda b2200 pickup truck one of the older ones.
anyway the freaking idiot in the dump truck nearly suddenly nails his brakes sending the truck sideways .
i had just enough time to move over to the middle of the truck i was in and the dumptruck slammed into us.
the mazda was smashed into the median by the dump truck and i still to this day swear i heard a voice telling me to move over right before it happened.
when the dump truck his us i could literally smell the deisel as the grill of the mac passed just a few inches from my temple.
the entire side of the truck i was in was sixteen inches narrower than before.
people were stopping thinking i was dead i mean it was really bizzare seeing the people and how they reacted. it was a super bad hit thats for sure.i mean i was checking to see what was still attached to me and what wasnt.
i really wanted to kill the douche bag that his us but my rotator cuff was torn and i could not move my right arm.
other than that i didnt have much of a mark.
it was a long time ago now but i still think of how lucky i was when that happened.
i still also to this day wonder about the voice i heard just before we got smoked by that truck.

rimmer if you failed after the first try you should stick with what you are good at.
that would be staying alive.

When I got to my early twenties,

around 21,

i realized, i had been fulfilled ( nirvana ) from the very start...

I just feel life as a gift from God,

and I enjoy so many things, and the company of my friends.

:-P

all i need now, is to be rich

:-) :-) :-)
