I'm a Sr. Research Scientist working for a major company owned by World's 3rd richest man. I have two Masters Degrees in science and Eng. I formerly worked for Cargill and Eastman Chemicals. I started my career teaching Physics and Chemistry in a University. I did polymer synthesis and coating formulation for over 25 years. I formulated paints that go for various applications, direct to metal, marine, architectural, can and coil coatings, industrial maintenance, from interior automotive coatings for OEM ABS to exterior TPO bumper, powder coatings, and wood coatings. Over these years I made lots of additives and polymers that go in coating applications.
Restoration is my biggest hobby!
May be I am missing some screws. I can laugh all day long!  I am only good at that.

Looks like this is turning into a "what do you do for work" thread  and not just "special talents" :-D . I did make a thread like this already so we could help eachother out even if it isn't boombox related ;-) :
viewtopic.php?f=9&t=722&hilit=help+me+to+help+you+to+help+me

I do Civil Engineering (for my real job) directly related to Fuel Station canopies. When you go to a gas station to fill your car, look up - that's what I do ;-) . There are only 4 people that work in the office and that includes the owner, the secretary, me, and one other person. Then there are about 7-9 people that work in our 2 shops. With the job I have access to:
-high definition plasma cutting
-automotive painting (single stage or base/clear)
-sheet metal fabrication
-welding
-forming
Here is our companies web site: http://www.kingmfg.com/

Degree in Architectural and Construction is my background.

I'm just too much of a busy body to stay behind my desk, that's why I get into all kinds of things like cars, powder coating, boomboxes, BMX bikes, construction, etc. Most of my skills or hobbies are directly related to having fun and making me some money on the side. I have always been a "wheeler and dealer" :surf: . My people skills are great :-P .

Wow....you guys are pretty awesome.

What can this Mrs. FD do? :hmmm:

I used to be a freelance hair & makeup girl (formerly worked at Glamour Shots)....so I make the average housewife look like a movie star?

But currently, I guess my 'talent' is doodling. I sketch in meetings, it actually helps me focus. I take the same notebook to every meeting, and I take a color pen that matches my outfit for the day (because I'm a dork like that :dunce: ) when I'm not the meeting lead, or taking notes, I sketch. These are the two that are in my notebook now. The multi colored one was maybe 6 months of meetings and takes up a 5x7 page. The other one was just recently started. Sorry for the poor image quality, but low flourescent lighting and a camera phone....whaddya expect?

Curtsey, but I could actually do something specific to you. A lady here at work bought me pens to match her guest room colors, and a list of personal things (her and husbands name, wedding date, kids names, etc) and I 'hid' them in the design. It was really pretty awesome when it was finished.

Unless of course you were being sarcastic, in which case boo on you

I really like it... Actually I have to admit that when my girlfriend and I tried lsd a while ago this is just like what we saw and loved it! It reminds me of some art nouveau wallpaper or marbled book inside covers.

No offense to my redneck people on this site who lived in Reading Pa. But I beat the snot and even took $3200 from one in less than 10 seconds because they thought I was a bum @ss Rican from the street!! I knew he wasn't the sharpest tool in the tool box when he asked me what the whiny sound coming from under my hood was and I replied "it's a vacuum leak" and to that he said "wanna race?" I only had $500 and he put up the rest. The car is on Youtube under the same name "Jboogie2384" if you want to hear the whine he heard

245/40's up front and 275/40's out back on 17x9 rims with NITTO's N1's at night!! Regular BS for daily cruising because that soft compound wears out a lot faster than regular rubbers.

Man, those are some BIG numbers....I love it....

I traded in my big boy HP power plants years ago....I'm just a cruiser now ;-)
