Hello guys...been a while since Paula had a ponderable.

I recently stumbled across a fact that a member was a former gymnast (which incidentally is AWESOME!). So it got me to wondering :hmmm: what hidden talents do you fellas have? :nonono: and no nasty comments like "I can make a girls toes curl with my skillz" :annoyed:

Hey I've won a few karaoke contests  One of them was called "Roulette duet". You pick a partner and then when your called up you pick the duet song out of bucket written on little sheets of paper. I chose my friend Frank, which coincidentally was not a very good singer. The song I ended up picking out of bucket was Sonny and Cher, " I've got you Babe". Well I pretty much ended up singing Cher part but helped my friend some with the Sonny parts as well. We won 1st place. A couple tshirts, some free beer and a $50 dinner certificate. It was a great time :-)

I was also very good at racing cars and trucks
but can't do it legally anymore!! :-O :-D

But in all honesty I'm not sure what I can truly
be excellent at and make $ doing it. !!!!!!! :hmmm:

I am very good at playing pool. Won a McDermott Legacy $650 cue back in my college years in a tournament.

Automotive stuff is my gig. Had about 45 vehicles in the last 6 years. Specifically SVT Ford Contours, I have owned 22 of those   :dunce: . Motor swaps, trans swaps, you name it, I've done it.
I enjoy "flipping" vehicles as side income. Buy cheap, small repairs, clean them up, and list for more. You wouldn't believe how easy selling a car if it is simply CLEAN inside. Even with known issues, people will buy a spotless car and almost put the repair issues on the back burner. I'm known as the "deal finder" in the family and among friends. Anyone is looking for something they usually come to me to help. Thought about getting a dealer license to be a "legit" flipper :hmmm: .

Powder coater as a hobby. All setup at home with coating booth, oven, powder stock, sand blasting cabinet, etc.... Kind of lost interest in it because there are easier ways to make $$ ;-) .

During My Breakdancing/Gymnast days on the mid 80s, Myself and a few of My breakers were hired as 'Extras' for a Hollywod movie being fimed in Corpus Christi,Texas. We were on standby for various scenes that called for us. We even had a specific dance scene in an abandoned warehouse with barrel fires and music. with Helen Slater pulling us out of the crowd to dance with. Sadly, this part was cut from the final version. I was so bummed when I sat with my parents at the VIP premere, only to see it was cut. We were still in anothers.

This particular dancing gig got the attention of Producers who asked Us (StreetLife) to perform on the dance show Solid Gold. We never went caues the rest of Our crew was too young and the parents would not allow them to go for a week on the Hollywood show

I'm a Sr. Research Scientist working for a major company owned by World's 3rd richest man. I have two Masters Degrees in science and Eng. I formerly worked for Cargill and Eastman Chemicals. I started my career teaching Physics and Chemistry in a University. I did polymer synthesis and coating formulation for over 25 years. I formulated paints that go for various applications, direct to metal, marine, architectural, can and coil coatings, industrial maintenance, from interior automotive coatings for OEM ABS to exterior TPO bumper, powder coatings, and wood coatings. Over these years I made lots of additives and polymers that go in coating applications.
Restoration is my biggest hobby!
May be I am missing some screws. I can laugh all day long!  I am only good at that.
