HELP!
Yo brothers, I have the opportunity of getting this Lasonic TRC-931 (What Generation? )
Here are the pictures of the box, mind you, I don't have a single Lasonic in my collection...
Can you be the judge of how much should I pay for it tops? Or even if it's worth getting? :-/

i think its the second version of the 1st gen :-)

and - if it all works well --
US$100 would be a pretty good deal

stranj the first thing would be to plug her in to see what works and what doesnt.. this lasonic are known to have bad function switches the tuner has one but since most people keep them running on fm a good mayority of times they are fine... most of the part for those u can find except for that fuction switch ,,if its works than the cosmetics should not be that bad to find... sound wise they are a beast ,,,its one of my favorites it has some real punchy deep bass eq and loudness together      cant go wrong if it atleast works so u should check it out.... if it cheap well maybe...

No power button.
No tuning knob.
Broken handle.
Missing a cassette key.

Personally, I'd pass on it unless the person just wants to give it away.

Second generation for sure. With the missing/broken pieces I would buy it ONLY if the line in was working and the radio.

$50 sounds about right.

Look rode hard and put away wet. I'd still pay 30-40 bucks for it if it showed up on a thrift store shelf. I am unsure tho if that box would be worth half of what the iPod lasonics goes for.should be cheap if your gonna grab it!

$50. ...... $75 max, if it it all works. The are always donor parts that come available for those.

Well, the seller hasn't yet told me if it works or not... so I'll be letting all you brothers know if it's a go!!! If it is a go, I'll need some help to find the parts... :'-(
