So how about it guys and gals?After a long absence from the silver screen and a loooooong time since the series ended on Fox.The powers that be decided to bring it back in the form of a miniseries.I was wondering when they where going to do the third X files movie.I guess it was decided to come back to TV rather than the theaters.Anyhow it will show on Sunday the 24th!I can't wait to check it out.Anybody feel the same?👽

O.K. today's the day.Tonight at 7 or 8 pm on Fox. Its the first episode in a six part miniseries,first time the X-files has had a new episode on TV since the series ended back in 2002.Hope its good.The truth is out there.👽

Just finished the first half of the first episode(second half tomorrow)and I gotta say it is very intriguing.All the cast appear to be back,assistant director Skinner,the smoking man(guy)and of course Fox Moulder and Dana Skully.All played by the original actors from back in the day.Very cool!Can't wait for tomorrows episode.👽

All new episode(2\1\16) on tonight.I think they said its gonna be an episode with a monster in it.So tune in, tell me what you think!Remember,the truth is out there.👽

apparently here in NZ we are getting the show the same week as USA. 1 episode left. is it just me or are they setting up for a spin off show with the 2 new characters?

Yeah Van,I kinda was thinking that too.What with those two younger agents.Also in the commercials they keep saying end of season coming up.So that makes me think another season could be coming up with those two new agents and then Mulder and Scully would show up from time to time.Its very interesting to muse over.The truth is out there.👽

As a keen fan of the original series, all I can say is wow, that lizard man episode was lame. How about the skipping jump the lizard dude did at the end!

Pathetic!!

The next 'band aid nose dude' episode was better though.

I used to be a huge X-Files fan. Have all the seasons on DVD, watched their movies. Watched and have the spin-offs (lone gunman series). But this new mini-series..... I could not get excited about at all.... seemed rather stupid to put it bluntly. I might be wrong, but from what I seen so far, I think this might be a series that falls flat on it's face and NOT get renewed.

yea id have to agree mostly. the first double eposide i thought was good. corporation conspiracy theories an things. but yea the Rhys Darby lizard man 1 was just silly. he could have at least tried to change his new zealand accent!
the last 1 with mulder getting high on mushrooms was a bit too hank moody. funny but scraping the barrel on story lines.
hopefully last episode is better
