We will have a group of about 25 people and a casino themed x-mas party this year. I have great casino tunes in my playlist while we are at the craps, blackjack, and pocker tables.

Question is, what boombox(s) to play the music on?????

Help!

I vote for the JVC M70, good classic box not too big and sounds professional.

Sounds like a lot of people....big party...I'd go Kenwood KR9600 with some MTX AAL2230's....oh wait...that's my setup. Yeah C100 I guess.

If you have something with blutooth that's always the way to go then you can control music from other side of room and take request ;-). I personally love the new BT Lasonic.. Big with large sound and very easy to control songs and volume from across room

Not sure how many y'all got the Bluetooth to RCA devices, but I got one and it's slick as sh*t. Instantly makes anything with an input a bluetooth device. BAM! So you can have a bluetooth C100 or M90 or whatever. Also great to have plugged into an old living room receiver if you don't use Apple TV or otherwise.

They are even on sale here. $14.49

Important question, is my ipod touch 5 a bluetooth device?

Well, I'm pretty much going to make a playlist and let it run. I'll be too busy with the casino games to be taking requests and constantly attending to it, but I would LOVE the blue-tooth receiver....... What local stores have that? Radioshack? Walmart?

We have:
- C100
- M70
- Wheely
- i931

No M90? TDK 3 Speaker? Lasonic 935?

The lights will be dim, and the party is in a lower level of a country club. I was thinking maybe something with lights, flash, pizzaz.

You are right. I looked it up.

Radio shack has the bluetooth adapter I can use but it is $39.00 :bang:

Too little too late. I won't have it for tonight, but I put it on my x-mas list for the wife to get me  .

Back on topic, which boomer do I take? The music is very "jazzy" and clear. Not really too much stuff with singing in it, a lot of instrumental mood setting music.

One thing for sure, use a loud radio. Once those 25 people get to partying they will get loud. Your gonna need POWER to keep up. Also, sound quality is still gonna be important. Please take some pictures

A few people including the owner of the company thanked me for bringing it. I ended up not playing my 'casino' themed playlist but went through my 'work safe' tunes and made a new playlist. Everything from nucleaus 'jam on it' to george michael and mumford and sons .

The bartender was having a blast listening to the mix I put together .
