I may as well make a story out of it, My first boombox was the Sharp 9090 and I've recently had phono inputs added and a selector switch so I can listen to the MP3's very happy with it, there is a lot of sentimental value I suppose about people here hold onto the first box they have owned something very special about their first hit. I've collected quite a few now mostly sharp, I wasn't overly satisfied with the 777 I wish it had the 9090 speakers I just think they are warmer and hit the bass a bit better, so after that I stopped going after the bigger boxes still love the VZ-2000 a special beast from a university experiences just a few months ago ( lots of parties rocking LP's ) but I love the comfortable GF-9090 It's so easy to walk about with and so unintrusive In its styling.
I'll get to the point Eventually, I got tickets for a festival called body and soul and holy fark, the boombox in the campsite was crazy w/ rap battles with a megaphone, There was a little breakdancing as well, pumping out all school prodigy, and mostly 90's dance high-intensity.
I've always considered the 9191 probably the best looking box of its time, in its own category of course I hardly expected to blast everyone away, but just as a casual raver I'm very excited, have always wanted one since heading to this site.
Is there anything you guys can tell me about your experiences with the 9191.

,mine has plenty of battle scars,needs a new aerial and the customary idler tyre for the deck doing,but,truth is the 9191 is the best box for its size pound for pound 
,but i dont even need the bass on full on the 9191 as it has ample at about half way up the scale,with equal measure of trebles
