:agree: I'm so sorry Peter, what a way to start your week, :-/

I hate to ask, but can it be repaired? Brothers do work miricles, as we all know. It's too much sorrow to part it out, every screw would be agony as I don't have one nor have I ever seen one in person. I can't imagine.

This is so sad to see. :'-( I don't think I could even talk to chew out a clerk, as if it's their fault. :annoyed:

Make the most of a bad situation - glue it back together with plastruct and fix any broken connections. Repaint if you're fussy.

I think you'll be surprised at how good it might look once you've finished.

At least you'll be able to take it outside and not worry too much about it getting damaged.

:agree: it's one of the misfortunes about shipping  send it to Jimmy for probably the best repair job you will ever see and all he asks for is a Sharp GF909 ;-)

Wow that was a minty one...such as shame, they must've dropped it off a bridge...such a waste.

If it were mine I'd be repairing the casing tho

Oh My GOD!!!! :-O  :'-( :sadno:

Get your money back. If it works and you can keep it, then start to repair.

If you have to keep it and part it out, DIBS on 1 antenna, the front aluminum trims, tweeter grills, and the cassette tray!!!!!

That totally sucks - no excuse for the carrier to be that careless with any package, I guess they forget who pays their salaries. :'-( :annoyed:

Thats some bad damage. Is it still fully functional mechanically speaking. Hope you can fix it up.

I would have been devestated if any major purchase of mine arrived like this.
