Here's some Healthy Bantor:
I've sort of been testing the Music Search feature on my equipped boxes in my modest collection. So modest, in fact, that I only have four boxes with the feature: Panasonic RX DT-707, Conion C-100FF, JVC RC-M70, and Pioneer CK-3.
Here's a pretty picture to start
:

Well, I guess I really should have dusted the box before I shot that
, but anyway...
Here's what I found (Remeber, I only have 4 with the feature):
#4. Pioneer CK-3

Here's what I found (Remeber, I only have 4 with the feature):
#4. Pioneer CK-3
- Selectable up to three songs/tracks, FF or REW.
- Needs a decent (3+ sec.) gap between songs/tracks.
- Works well selecting, regardless of gaps.
- Selectable up to 16 songs/tracks!
- Cool LED indicating display.
- Bulky to use. Really, it's main drawback.
- As we say in New England: Wicked. Simple.
- Works every time with minimal gaps.
- Only selects one song/track at a time.
- It just works, man..Every time!
- Again, wicked simple.
- It may only select one song/track at a time, but it's soooo fast and responsive.
- I love the mechanical sounds from an otherwise "digital" box.
