In fact, I didn't even know about VCR's until 1986 - a friend of mine had both a VHS and a Betamax machine in his basement! :yes:

A year or so later, my brother bought a cheap VHS VCR from an Erol's video rental chain.

My father used to collect old scrap irons, and sold it, and from that money he saved for the kool video :sin: :-D

I still have a ton of Disney movies on VHS...sadly I have replaced them with the Blu ray version...but I keep them around for nostalgic reasons... :-D

I use mine so much (Mitsubishi HS-760) bought new for 650.00 in 1992' and now it just died! :-O
It won't advance the right side-bad belt but ridiculously hard to get at.Will try again. :hmmm:
I've used it to such a degree it had a right to break!!
I will buy another though!
I have hundreds & hundreds of tapes with cartoons & leave it to beaver and more good stuff.
I still have my talking VCR in the living room!

We may have replaced some of our VHS tapes with DVD versions but hell no we're not re-buying our porn on DVD. :lol:
