Ebay won't follow this up. I once had a buyer threaten to physically assault me and financially extort me, reported and ebay did nothing at all. The buyer made his intention very clear in his email and it was all because he didn't receive his item within one day (Melbourne > townsville 
)
I received a question once in the same vain as Bill's but I responded to the sender asking for his phone number so that I could confirm my listing prices with him before going live with the listing
but this can lead to further issues if the "buyer" has nothing better to do than use a dummy account and bid on all your listings and not follow through. Because ebay opens such a wide audience expect some people like this, it's a consequence of the open market. The idiot is probably annoyed that he sold a similar one at $75 (BIN) because he didn't know any better
