Good question.....

Half the time I have no idea where I am.

Three weeks ago I was in GA,AL,MS,TN and TX for work.... I think I told you about that. About 4000 miles on the land and in the air in 4 days. Then I was home for one day.

Two weeks ago I was in Colorado with my wife on a 8 day couples retreat. Despite my ~dislike~ of heights we did a high and low ropes course, a 600 foot zip line 100+ feet in the air across a valley, spent a day white water rafting the Arkansas river and the Cat 4 Royal Gorge, rappelled down a 300' vertical drop, rock-climbed in the Garden of the Gods, climbed a 10,000 foot mountain twice and climbed a 14,000 mountain on the last day.... the air was so thin you could only spend 10 min at the top and then we relaxed in a natural hot-springs along the river. And got to know 8 other really cool couples I am looking forward to getting to know much better. I drove 1000 miles that week too.

After one day at home I headed off this week to Texas for work. Now I am in Memphis. Getting up at 4 am tomorrow to fly home. I will be back here on Monday. Probably hit AL and GA while I am at it.....

As a great reward I am probably looking at taking a 20-40% paycut next week because of this crappy economy.

I guess I will have to just work harder.

Good thing he didn't.... my wife would probably put a cap in his arse.... she gets a little jumpy when I am gone. And it is the wrong time of the month to mess with her. Double Whammy!

I cut the grass this week, and afterwards was joined on the newly mowed lawn by my wife, who brought me a piece of pie. During the course of our conversation, I complained that I couldn't keep up this level of activity much longer.

The "active lifetyle" must be a relative thing.

what did you boom ??
The only thing booming, I'm afraid to say, was my pounding heart.

So far, I haven't found a ghetto blaster that my lawn mower doesn't drown out.
