Well when I picked it up it really wasn't working at all. The lights came on, tapes weren't playing at any kind of listening volume or sound quality, had the typical transformer 'buzzzzz' when plugged in, and the battery door is missing.

The plan was to hopefully find a buyer on boomboxery for it but now after going through and figuring out the issues, it is just about 100% fully working!! Went from door stop to shelf queen .


I think it is staying with me for now .

Yo FUZZ, the Helix version of these wheely's actually have a RECHARGABLE battery switch?!?!?!? I was happy to see that, so I can drop some rechargable D cells in this beast and charge them right in it (after I find a battery door )

What?! Rechargeable? I never even noticed that . Yay! that is cool. I'll have to check it out.

Yeah man. Just to the right of the battery door, on my Helix it has a switch for "on/off" battery recharge .


The Dynasty and Matsuki don't have that feature, just a blank switch hole. On my Dynasty I had Norm mount the switch there for my blue tuner LEDs.
