Big empty box, weight of 2 walkman

Look at those tiny tapedecks.
left only rec+stop, right only play, ff, rew and stop
Doublesliders, faked tweeters,.....

The worst, most pathetic piece of crap boombox I've ever had the misfortune to buy is this Philips Compo Soundmachine:
All the fancy features like soft touch controls, metal tape capability etc but only a dreaded Tone slider, fake tweaters and absolutely no BASS!!!!
As you can see from the photo, the dust indicates how much use it gets!!

Super light weight, 6 C cells to power the thing. Trust me, it doesn't do much with them!!

What a depresssing late eighties, cheapo piece of crud!!!

Philips had really gone to seed by this stage!!

I have one that I still can't believe I took off my brothers hands years ago. It's got cheap plastic, crappy sliders and crumby sound. I still can't part ways with it for some reason....it's like watching plastic surgery gone awry...you CANNOT help but look..

Much as I hate to concede it, the Crown 5100 is the worst performer and build quality, oh and crappiest feature set of course!

LOVE the look, and mine has sentimental value, is a minter and I wouldn't part with it.

But still, sucky doesn't begin to describe it
