I think some one said its to do with release zones like DVD s
So radios can be used in the correct country
That's with the letters
But numbers well the bigger the better
And the 999 is not the jap 777 it has more suff
Do look very much the samish

so as we see it the 909 and 919 are the jap versions of the 767 and 777 and the 999 and 1000 are jap versions with being a higher version that Europe never got

or it is that they are all separate modals and we are just thinking that they match for two different markets

and dose any one have one of each or the modals and/or the different serials of the same version

pic's please ;-)

I don't think the 909 is an 767 equivalent... or vice versa. Both 909 and 919 are very close to the 777. There's no Japanese version as "feature poor" as the 767.

so it's more like the second part that i said - each one is different

but some parts are used /seen on the modals in different ways - hence why the 919/909 look like the 777

so why did they make the different modals - money and to have a choice / from mixing around a couple of parts it's like cars and different specs from low to high !

Maybe they wanted the international versions to look more classic as the GF-909/999s colour schemes might not have been received as well in Europa/America as in Japan. Different countries, different design preferences. Maybe it's got to do with when which box came out. Are there any informations on that?
