No.....I just wondered why the Ebay seller from China always lists 777Z models, but everyone here always just says 777

Far as I know, they all have suffixes. I have the Z model and an H model. They both look exactly the same but the tuner band has some differences. I think the "z" model is the most common, especially here in N. America. The H version might be for canada or europe I think.

I think this has been answered before in another topic, but can't remember..?

I do know with the Sharp GF-9000, the Z model has aux-in/phono switch, and the regular 9000 just has phono-in..

H model, grey tuner scale, more common in Europe. Z model, blue tuner scale, more common in US.

Exactly. Besides from that, I don't think there is any difference and I have owned both, the Z and the H. Both have proper RCA inputs with a phono/aux switch. And both have voltage switches, so that's not a problem either. The grey tuner scale just looks cooler :-D

The glass on the tuner and the radio scale on the H is darker too.... Looks lot better than the Z.

I've had both too. Besides the tuner window color difference and radio bands, the only thing I noticed was the 777H picked up radio stations much better.

Right on Joe,yes I have both-the H is a little louder and
has a more sensitive tuner.
It seems to me that the H models are a little
louder, maybe voltage is slightly lower than our 110 volt
sector?!
I've noticed this on other H Sharp models.

Hey, my sharps have another different ! The speaker color. But i don`t know is this a feature or not :hmmm:
All speaker are original sharp !

On top the GF777H and down the GF777Z. My GF767H has the same speaker color as the GF777H.

Cheers, Lutz

I'm pretty sure that's discoloration. My Z had the same nice dark tone as my and your H.

Pretty sure that's the right answer.

It's actually fade from the sun. The 1's with darker speakers have not been out in the heat & sun while the more brown looking faded woofers are from UV damage.

here are my two 777's

The 777 Z has a *phones plug* and the 777 H has a *din* plug for external speakers.
When the speakers are black, they were painted, or not often used outside...
