What's it worth ? Sony FH-15R

Looking at a local sale for a Sony FH-15R.
What is this worth ? It needs 1 woofer refoamed.
Works well as I'm told.

Seller wants $140 ?

He said he refoamed 1 woofer and will do the other.
Gonna find out if it has the handle.

Handle for this systems it's REALLY hard to find... ...and NO, FH15 handle do not work for this ones (FH15, 10 or 100).

I am going to have to agree with hemi on this one. Uless you are collecting that particular series or it has sentimental value to you.

I would've bought it for $150.

The APMs with foam surrounds are better than the ones with cloth surrounds.

Foam surrounds are a hundred bucks, then it would've been perfect.

I bought a Sony FH-215R. Dont the APM's on these come with Rubber surrounds ?

Nah fairly sure they're foam too. I looked at a FH-909 - similar vintage to yours, and it had foam ones.

Yours are probably still intact because it's a few years newer than the 15.

You should get both anyway, both awesome stereos!

Ah yep, you're right, I just got some. They're rubber coated fabric and they sound amazing!

I thought they were foam because mine have a couple of small holes in them... a cockroach had eaten some of the surround!
