Off to my parents place later today for either a BBQ or a good old fashioned roast dinner.

Not sure which it is yet though ;-)

It's Sunday - so it's gonna be roast chicken with sage and onion stuffing, roast potatoes, yorkshires, broccoli, runner beans, chicken gravy, and lashings of English mustard.. Yummmm....

Runner beans = beans for athletes.

AKA Green beans.
I'm somewhat proud of myself at the moment. My first thought was "I bet that's British-speak for green beans." Hey! I was right!

Took the easy-life option tonight - went to the local chippy and got Saveloy & chips and a DG grape soda.

Slid down a treat I tell ya

The good news is that the 4' tall grass makes it hard to see the refrigerator on the porch and the '81 Dodge Aries that's up on blocks in the driveway. :-P
