What's Coming Next From Bumpboxx?

I read in one of the earliest BB777 announcement threads on Facebook (by one of the Bumpboxx staff) that they had also considered the Conion C-100F and JVC RC-M90 but that they settled on the GF-777 and the other two may be future retro projects if the BB777 proves a success.

I am a consultant on the BB-777 and upcoming B90 project. The short term plan is 4 classic boomboxes. That could be extended depending on the popularity of the next project. Most of you already know the first 2. We have yet to decide the next 2. Popularity of the classic model does play a huge part in choosing the model. We have done our best to have quality, sound, and design details that due justice to the original. It can't just look the part. It must perform at a very high level. I joined the Bumpboxx team for this project with only one request: I will only put my name on a product that pays proper homage to the classic it represents. With the BB-777 we have done that. The B90 is next. Doing a retro of the King will be a daunting task. We will do it with the same hard work that went into the BB-777. I truly love the end result. It is a beast. The B90 will be a better beast.

And it would stretch the customer base to the younger demographic as well. The reason is because of the Conion's big meters. Most young people don't care about tape decks or FM radio, but they do care about flashy lights and things that move, like meters. The Conion's can be seen from a mile away, due to the chrome 3D surface surrounding each LED. Also the lighted tuner dial is huge, and it carries the light all the way across the dial smoothly, without any harsh spotlighting. Those two features together will make kids start to see the value in retro design, instead of blowing $500-600 on a boring JBL that looks like a Thermos.

You might get your wish. Initially the plan was 4 retro boomboxes. The first 2 are the BB-777 and B90. The C100F is certainly in the running for our next project.
