We need to come up with about $1,000-$1200 to cover the full cost of a new stainless dishwasher and range(stove/oven).

Now, I don't need to cover the full amount by selling something I just don't want that full chunk of money to come out of our savings when I know there are 'things' that I could let go to cover some of it.

Here are my options:

All original (besides the grips) 1985 GT Mach One bmx. Only a few scratches on the fork decals and pedals. I have $50 into it and it could fetch up to $600.

All original and pretty 'used' 1987 Schwinn YO Deluxe bmx scooter. I have $10 in it and I might be able to get $100.

Only boxes I have that I would let go are:
$50 Sony CFS-9000
$100 Bolt Box
$100 Helix 4630 or Candle JTR-1287

^ those all need some work and aren't worth a lot.

Maybe sell the scooter and 3 boomboxes to total $350?

Price the Mach One really high at $750 and hope it doesn't sell? LOL.

Or, just eat the cost of the appliances and put them on a payment plan so the money isn't just 'gone'?

True - the way it is setup, it is really kind of small for me.

I have 2 other scooters, a 1998 GT Pro Series 24" cruiser, and a 2001 GT Power Series 3.0 that I can actually ride comfortably.

Sell them all and get some more profitable projects to play with. Btw, tell me about the bolt box.

:agree: In 10 years do you see yourself on a bike? Probably not, I'm just guessing.

Dam Joe those GT's are NIIIIIICE, I used to have a Performer. Maybe you could put the appliances on a payment plan with 0 interest :-) and keep it ALL!

So we decided to list our old range and dishwasher, no bites.

I listed my scooter, 85 GT Mach one, and my truck lowering kit.

The lowering kit sold for $350 today so that helps a lot. As bad as I wanted to lower my truck, it can wait.

Well the auction ended. Just below the reserve but the high bidder is in Australia. No way am I second chance offering to him. I went down the line for both bidders below that and they were both in Illinois. Neither of them would follow through with the purchase....

So I sweetened the pot a little bit and added a OG 1980's racing number plate for the handle bars to the listing worth about $150. I accepted an offer this morning of $825 shipped to FL for the bike and number plate. Should be about $40 to ship, $60 in paypal/ebay fees, the end number will be around $700-$725 in my pocket. Not too bad but I'm sad to see this bike go.......
