What Special Boomboxes Are You Pulling Out For The 4th?

Hi everyone,just wondering what boomboxes will you be using for
the 4th?
What boxes outside and what is everyone cranking inside??

I'm pulling out the guns for inside-The Sharp GF-767 and the JVC RC-M90!
For outside it will be the JVC RC-M60 and a Sharp GF-9191.

Going to BBQ & party-no fireworks this year!!!!
The drought and the heat has many,many firework bans!
Happy Birthday America!!!!!!

But I'll still have fun,hope everyone else to has a safe & fun Boombox

I took the M70 out to hear the synchronized music program the local radio station has, that goes along with the fireworks.
Me and a group of my freinds with their families got to a spot downtown and we set up shop. Just like every year I'm usually the only person to bring a radio and every one stops, looks, points and start dancing! so its usually a good time.
When the show started I cranked it up and every one started cheering!
Then it happened..... Some old dude comes up with sour face and says "Turn that noise off I cant hear the fireworks!"

I gave the guy the craziest look and said "Are you serious??? It's the 4th of July, and THIS is how I celebrate my independance!!!"

Then I basically told him that we have been at the spot for a while and if he doesnt like it there are plenty of other spots to see and HEAR the fireworks.
Then I asked the crowd, "This guy wants me to turn it down, should I???" Needless to say every one said "Hell no, turn it up!"
Ah yes! good ol democracy at work!

Althouh at the end of the show my buddies wife was like "OK turn it OFF Now!"
I told her to get F'ed. :devil:

And yes I had been drinking all day. Just another way I like to celebrate my freedom on this day the 4th of ****ing July!

I had to bring out the 935 because of the nice red/white/blue colors on it. The lit up EQ and dancing VU meters makes it a killer box for any outing

I did not break out a radio on the 4th

Instead I gave the greatest gift any wife would want....NO RADIO!

I cut her some slack and BBQ'd without driving her crazy with my radios...

After all, she gets radios every place we go....I gave her a break today!
