I remember when I 1st got my Lasonic TRC975 the 1st thing I did at the store was count all the switches and knobs to compare it to my TRC931 that I had purchased from same store 5 years prior

Totally agree. And you can set the "timer" to wake-up the stereo. start recording, etc.... Amazing stuff for early 80's
