What Boombox from Panasonic 1982 Guess!

Just got an email this morning from one of my "I buy boombox" ads. Guy says he has a boombox he got as a gift at work in 1982. It is still in the box, never opened, never used and he syays its a Panasonic. I am trying to get back with him by his phone number, but I guess he is not home right now. What do you think it will be???????? 5150, (I Hope), 5085, etc. I will report back after I find out!

Well I guess New in Box actually translated means kinda looks new with original box included. Sorry to disappoint, it is none of the above. Definitely not homerun, but it does look pretty good and has original box and manual. Just a cheap Sanyo MW-1, but everything works and its clean, plus it had a friend in the attic. Magnavox D800, works perfectly, and the price was cheap. $40.00 for both. Oh Well, If you dont go, you will never know!

At least you saved it and maybe one of those nutty guys here that collect bbx's with the OG packaging will want it if you don't.

I will probably sell or trade the sanyo at some point, if I ever have enough posts to access the buy sell area , but I am glad I got the Magnavox. I didnt have one of those.
