what are your favorite movies ?
dont need to be boombox or music related but what movies are your top five favorites.

5 american graffiti this film still this day blows me aways. its a lower budget film but it is very very detailed and quite special.
some of it might not appear so amazing at first but even something about the way it is filmed and the way it sounds is incredibly innovative and ground breaking.
the way ambient sound is treated in the film as a sub soundtrack also is amazing. in some ways the film almost comes across as a time capsule.
hands down one of my favorite films of all time

4 star wars i mean most forty somethings remember this movie as being the film that changed everything. in a way it kind of did change everything.
there is not much i could write that has not been written but this film for sure is one of my favorites .

3 forbidden planet, amazing film amazing soundtrack just a super cool film from the 1950s. hard to believe leslie nielson is in this one but he sure is.

2 wings of desire classic 80s german film about angels and the desire of one to become human. visually spectacular imagery and ultra complex story line.
classic film and killer sound track.

1 my all time favorite film and i doubt very much that it will ever be replaced is metropolis. this silent film is just amazing and the story line is extremely simple yet very relevant as it nears its one hundreth year of existence i am sure it will see a revival .
just a amazing vision of the future from a time where the concept of jet travel was still a dream for futurists.

OH man just 5?

Jeremiah Johnson
The Warriors
Office Space
American Graffiti
Star Wars

I could easily keep going and going, there's way to many great movies to honestly narrow it down to five.

funny how you forget about movies sometimes until you have a thread like this to remind you.

goldfinger was a pretty awesome bond flick.
unfortunately in the book the pussy galore character was a non option for bond lol.

So many good Clint films, he just keeps getting better.

And I could add another 30 or 40, my top 5 is likely to change on any given day though.
