Just bought my first Limo and she's beautiful. A 2005 Ford Excursion 14 passenger with only 92,000 miles. Jeannie and I are going Monday to get the business license, insurance and Livery plates. After we are approved we will get business cards and start a website and possibly buy a Lincoln Town car for driving business men/women to airports. Wish us luck on our quest :thumbsup:

That is AMAZING...i have wanted to do something like that for awhile actually...it just takes some serious $$$ to get started plus you have to deal with the competition, which is sometimes difficult :blush: I hope it works out for you guys!

***If i were you i would invest in some BIG chrome deep dish mags...it will dramatically change the look and have that "wow" factor people like! :-D

Thanks Gordie. I may check into new wheels and tires. It's not very expensive at all to start. I paid $16,500 for limo. Insurance will be $300 or so a month. As for competition we only have one other limo service in surround 35 mile radius and he only has an 8 passenger Town car ;-). Plus I'm going to buy a regular Town car for driving Executives and business men/women to and from airport and other places in Chicago.

Too bad for me you're in the Mid-West, Bill. I fly to FL several times a year. I'd be a regular - at least for Town Car service.
Guess I'm still stuck taking stinky Woburn cabs. It's kinda out of control around here.

9 miles to Logan = $110.00 cab fare with tip.
34 miles from PBI to Port St. Lucie in a Town Car = $65.00 flat rate.
WTF??? :blink:

With 15 passengers including myself just a regular license, no endorsements :yes:

WoW if you don't have a lot of competition that's great...especially if you have "better" pricing :thumbsup: I can't do it in my city...there's TONS of competition around i wouldn't survive :lol: IMO upgrading the wheels and tires are well well worth it!
