Just needs a few boomers here and there and POOF...instant home!

Well done Bill...I hope you settle in soon!

Nice find Bill. Gee property is good value in your neck of the woods. My first house (2 bedroom shitbox) cost me $108,000 in 1992!!

Good luck with the resto. Nothing like an appreciating asset!

James..... :-)

$105,000?...wow, you get a lot for your money! Just did a bit of currency conversion and I paid almost exactly three times that for less space...us Brits have to pay waaaay too much for smaller houses....no fair :(

...and you get better weather :(

...the UK sucks :(

Not all of the U.S. has home prices like that. Check Boston area and So. Cal. home prices. Realistically, I have no business living in this area - and I rent. A single blocked parking space just sold a month ago in Boston for $125,000 - And that was a bargain, considering one sold a few weeks prior for $250,000, which I believe is a record for the area - Parking Spaces! Serious.
I bet a house like that in this area would sell for around $500,000+ on a postage stamp lot with a laughable yard.

So, yeah, you did good, Bill. :-)

That house would list for about $800,000 where I live. And there would be plenty of interested buyers.
Yeah, So Cal is stupid expensive! Normal single family homes nearing $1,000,000 is just lame

Yeah, that's worse that a HOA

It's not really an association, more like a vacation home trailer park but most live here all year around  we pay $730/mo. Lot rent which comes out to almost $9000/yr. plus they fine us on stupid things which adds up. They are money hungry bast-//;(. Here
