I decided to cast aside my responsibilities and take a little trip down the Orange Line to catch a glimpse of some World Series Champs. It was a beautiful day, especially for November, and we had a blast. My buddy from NH came down with his son, who was born in '05, so he was too young for the parade in '07. He had a blast too, and was very popular at the Bell In Hand (an ancient watering hole, for those who don't know the city). I haven't missed a championship victory parade for any team since the Patriots won the Super Bowl in '01, and I wasn't going to miss this one.
It was so much fun and the atmosphere was so electric I had to share it here (and elsewhere).

My best bud, Dave with his son, Davey Boy! This kid was a "lady killer!"

...And this guy was in such a hurry to get to the parade that he forgot about low tide, only tethered off with one rope with a horrific knot, and didn't throw out a single fender against the granite wall. The Harbor Master is going to be none-too-pleased.
